TheAfrika Museum located in Zug, in the Zug region of Switzerland, was created in 1906 as the foundation of the St. Peter Claver Sodalität establishment.

The Founder Ledochowska Maria Theresa (1863-1922) has it as her life task a systematic education of the European population about the problems of Africa. In addition, she lectures with photographs from Africa, their own magazines and brochures, and not least the ethnographic collections of African objects used.

Through educational and promotional lectures the interesting objects from Africa was introduced to Europeans at the Afrika Museum in Zug.

The current collection consists of pieces from Central Africa, Congo, Nigeria, Angola, Benin, Cameroon and other African countries.

The Afrika Museum , in Zug, showcase:

- Masks and fetishes, from Central Africa, mainly from Urstamm
- Ancestor figures, fetishes Nagel
- Carvings from ebony and ivory
- Household items, jewellery
- Musical instruments, working and hunting tools
- Stuffed animals of the African fauna
