Located half an hour drive from Rockhampton, Koorana Crocodile Farm is a commercially operated crocodile farm and restaurant. Fully guided tours are operated daily at 10.30 a.m. and 1.00 p.m. with crocodile hatchings being seen from March to May.

The restaurant serves crocodile meat dishes as well as standard meals and crocodile skin products are available including wallets, belts and clothing. Visitors have the opportunity to touch and hold a specially trained crocodile.

4. Mount Hay Gemstone Tourist ParkFamous for it’s Thundereggs and Fossicking, Aradon Mount Hay offers a huge range of quality pewter and gemstone products, gemstones and gemstone cutting/polishing services to both Australian and International customers.

The Mount Hay tourist park is 30 minutes west of Rockhampton on the Capricorn Highway at Wycarbah and is open 7 days a week, from 8.30am to 4.30pm. Kiosk, BBQ and camping facilities available.
