Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge
Prime Hook National Wildlife Refuge in Milton is located on the west shore of the Delaware Bay and is a 10,144 acre refuge for migratory birds. This important stopover for these migratory birds provides protected breeding habitat for threatened and endangered species including neo-tropical migrating bird species. The habitat includes salt marsh, freshwater marsh, ponds and impoundments, wooded swamps and upland grasslands and forest as they say.
