Ucluelet Aquarium in Ucluelet, Vancouver Island, Canada | Aquarium

We are a small regional Aquarium exhibiting a collection exclusive to the west coast of Vancouver Island. Our exhibits are stocked seasonally from the waters around Ucluelet and Tofino, and we go to great lengths to safely return our animals to the wild following a period on display. At the close of our 2004 and 2005 seasons, we successfully released our collection to the areas from which they came.
The Ucluelet Mini Aquarium is the first stage of a larger facility. This two-year pilot project terminates in September 2005 to make way for a permanent seasonal facility along Ucluelet's waterfront set to open by summer of 2008. Thanks to our many visitors, supporters, volunteers, and friends the Ucluelet Aquarium Society is confident that the pilot project can successfully move forward into its next stage
