Explore the World of The Jersey Shore and Tuckerton Seaport, a working maritime village, is located along the Tuckerton Creek. This one-of-a-kind attraction, in the heart of historic Tuckerton New Jersey, brings the Jersey Shore?s maritime traditions of the past and present to life through people, exhibits and hands-on activities. Discover the Jersey Shore?s unique maritime heritage and the interaction between culture and nature on the Barnegat Bay. Experience the rich traditions of the Jersey Shore and its Baymen through the Seaport?s recreated and historic buildings, demonstrations, interpretive exhibits, events, festivals, live aquatic displays and more. Decoy carvers, boat builders, basket makers, and baymen entertain, educate and delight visitors of all ages. Stroll the 3/4 mile boardwalk and experience life on the Tuckerton "Crik". Identify birds and plants on our 1/4 mile nature trail. Tour our site and view garveys, sneakboxes, cruising yachts and party boats displayed on land and water.

The Gift Shop offers a wide variety of maritime related Gifts, souvenirs as well as children?s educational toys. The Gift Shop also features, an upscale line of prints, carvings, basketry and unique artwork created by our region's local artists.

Melody II Tours
Join bayman Capt. Fred Kalm for a boat ride down Tuckerton Creek on the Melody II, a classic charter boat built in Tuckerton, NJ. The Captain is looking forward to seeing everyone once again in 2009.

Tuckerton Seaport ASA Sailing School
Learn to sail with American Sailing Association instructors Capt. George Ward and Capt. Dick Gouldey. Basic keelboat certification and basic coastal cruising certification is available for individuals and small groups. Watch master sneakbox boat builder Ron Spondofora and Tuckerton Seaport's volunteers working on their latest project. Perrines operates Friday and Saturday April through December.

Tuckerton Seaports Pump-out Boat
The ?Waste Watcher? is a pump-out boat owned by Ocean County and operated by the Tuckerton Seaport, servicing the Little Egg Harbor Area. Pump-out boats make it convenient for boaters to empty their holding tanks in an environmentally acceptable manner.

Eyre Haven Folk Club
Gather, socialize, and enjoy great music from a wide variety of artists. Based on the folk clubs in England, local residents formed the Eyre Haven Folk Club as a place for neighbors to socialize regularly and listen to music. The club hosts concerts bi-monthly at the Tuckerton Seaport Hunting Shanty, visit our activities calendar for dates.
