"Trattoria Omero" is situated in the centre of the ancient quarter of "Arcetri", just a stone's throw from Piazzale Michelangelo, on a street know as "Via Pian dei Giullari", which was named after the minstrels who used to perform popular version of folk tales.

It is a long and rambing thoroughfare that winds its way from Poggio Imperiale to the Church of Santa Margherita a Montici.

Halfway along the road is the house know as "Il Gioello", the last home of Galileo Galilei and standing opposite it is "Trattoria Omero", Firenze - a charming inn which still retains its unique old-worldly charm.

The wine cellar is also distinguished and features some 200 carefully chosen wines, mainly from Tuscan vineyards.

It boasts two spacious dining rooms and a summer terrace affording unforgettable views of the Tuscan hills.
