Thousand Islands Expeditions offers exciting Jet Boat Trips or Leisurely Cruises on a traditional boat to Ramsey Island and Grassholm Island, plenty of attractions and things to do. Sole landing rights to Ramsey Island RSPB Nature Reserve. Boat trips depart daily from St. Davids, Lifeboat Station, in Pembrokeshire, Wales.

Dogs are welcome on the boats. Some dogs are confident onboard but some dogs get quite stressed so our trips may not suit all. If you are unsure there is a doggy sitting service available nearby.

LAND ON RAMSEY Island TRIP
Ramsey Island Boat Trips departing St Davids. The RSPB invite a privileged number of day visitors to experience the unspoilt natural beauty of this most spectacular Island Nature Reserve, surrounded by seals, seabirds and the myriad of flora and fauna that make up the beautiful Pembrokeshire Islands. Ramsey Island is owned and protected by the RSPB who have granted Thousand Islands Expeditions the sole landing rights.

RSPB Islands Adventure
Spend the day visiting the RSPB?s magical Pembrokeshire Islands of Grassholm and Ramsey. The day begins at 9.30 with an exhilarating boat trip to Grassholm in the company of an expert RSPB guide. The Island is home to 32,000 pairs of breeding gannets. During the trip we look for Puffins and Shearwaters and many other seabirds as well as Porpoise, Atlantic Grey Seals and possibly a glimpse of larger marine mammals.

EXCITING JET BOAT TRIPS
Explore the Caves, bays & Gorges of Ramsey Island onboard our powerful water propelled jet boat. Experience the swirling currents and turbulent water in Ramsey Sound. Marvel at some of the highest sea Cliffs in Wales. Search for Porpoise, the Atlantic Grey Seal colony and hundreds of seabirds.

WHALE AND DOLPHIN TRIPS
Our Whale and Dolphin Watch trips are 2 1/2 to 3 hours of stunning Pembrokeshire scenery and an amazing diversity of Wildlife. Our guide talks with you as we venture offshore to the RSPB Island of Grassholm, home to the 3rd largest gannet colony in the northern hemisphere. We then continue our cruise out beyond Grassholm Island into the distant waters of the Irish Sea in search of a sighting of dolphin, porpoise, orca and whales. All the time you will see a wealth of seabirds and of course the seals. Binoculars and identification books onboard. We will make your voyage comfortable and breathtaking.

EVENING Cruises
Join us on a relaxing evening voyage to the outer Islands to see the puffins and the incredible passage of hundreds of shearwaters as they return to their burrows on the grassy slopes of the Islands for the evening.

RHIB TRIPS
Voyage around Ramsey and the surrounding Islands onboard powerful purpose built rigid hull inflatable boats (rhib). A mixture of shear exhilaration and sensitive appreciation of the Wildlife. Venture into deep sea Caves, through rocky Gorges and across some of the strongest sea currents.
