Alain?s approach is based on the premise that each vintage will bring a new challenge, so he nurtures the fruit and adapts his methods to create the best wine utilizing traditional French winemaking techniques.
Alain is one of Australia's longest serving winemakers and the only French winemaker in the Hunter Valley.
Wines at Terrace Vale Wines are made predominantly from premium quality fruit sourced from the Terrace Vale vineyards in Hunter Valley, the outcome being that only limited quantities are produced each vintage. The wines can be purchased directly from our cellar door, or through selected fine wine outlets and restaurants.
Our grapes are picked at optimum maturity then fermented under controlled temperatures producing delicate yet concentrated varietal characters. Each vintage brings new challenges, so we adapt our techniques and nurture the fruit to create the best result. The goal of Terrace Vale Wines is to make a better a wine each year for you to enjoy.
