Welcome to the St. Petersburg Chess Club of Tampa Bay, Florida, United States. The St. Petersburg Chess Club welcome Chess players of all ages and strengths. Our members include some of the strongest Chess players in Florida and the Tampa Bay area. The St. Petersburg Chess Club is open for casual play and also runs dozens of Chess tournaments throughout the year. Our scholastic events are especially popular, drawing young players from all over central Florida.
The St. Petersburg Chess Club is open 24/7/365, as renewed members have keys and can go whenever they wish. We generally expect people Monday, Wednesday and Friday afternoons from 1 to 5 pm and on Friday evenings from 7:30 to about 11 pm.
