Silver Dart Lodge, situated in Baddeck, Nova Scotia at the start and stop point of the Cape Breton's Cabot Trail, featuring the finest panoramic view of the Bras d'Or Lakes, McCurdy?s restaurant, lounge and patio, with live entertainment, heated swimming pool, private beach, and forested nature trails.

Variety of Hotel rooms and Chalets, open mid-May to mid-October, The Silver Dart Lodge and its sister property, MacNeil House, share over 90 acres of natural surroundings all the way down to the shores of the Bras d'or Lakes. Choose from a wide variety of Hotel rooms and rates, most with great views, designed to offer the best overall value for your specific needs.

Main Lodge: Boasting our best view of the lakes these traditional Lodge Hotel rooms offer a rustic Cape Breton charm and great reservation rates. Equipped with either one King or Queen bed or Two twin beds our Main Lodge guest rooms are centrally located and offer a refreshingly unique Baddeck-feel that is accentuated by the spectacular view and deck.

Pets: Silver Dart Lodge is a pet-friendly facility. Pets are welcome in our Chalets and our West Lodge only.
Non-smoking: All accommodations are non-smoking.

Chalet - Double: Cottage-like, side by side Chalets that offer one Queen [with wood stove fireplace] or two double bed configurations, hardwood floors, kitchenette facilities and decks overlooking the play grounds, pool and lakes. Some feature adjoining rooms for larger families or friends who are travelling Cape Breton together. Our Chalets offer a whole different feel to traditional Hotel rooms and are a very popular accommodation in Baddeck. All at very reasonable rates.

West Lodge: In Baddeck, these Hotel rooms are tucked away from the traffic and designed to offer a little extra room for larger parities. Overlooking the lakes, these rooms feature two double beds, an extended sitting area inclusive of a sofa bed and access to a common deck with an expansive view. Sit back, relax, and enjoy the tranquil country environment of Cape Breton Island.

East Lodge: Standard & Lake View
Conveniently situated close to our dining room, these Hotel rooms feature a contemporary style guestroom, two double beds, comfortable sitting area and a private deck overlooking the lakes. Non-view East Lodge rooms are also available. These rooms offer the same amenities, but do not have a view.

Join us for breakfast and dinner in McCurdy's dining room while enjoying one the best views in Cape Breton.The Observation Deck Lounge is also a great spot to relax and enjoy a late afternoon drink after sightseeing or a game of GOLF. Or stop by for a nightcap before you retire for the evening. Our bartenders are always happy to socialize with you and provide information on how to discover the many hidden gems in the area.
