The Rheidol Riding Centre has full-size floodlit indoor and full-size floodlit outdoor riding arenas, a showjumping and cross-country course, and fantastic trekking around the Rheidol Valley.
The Rheidol Riding Centre is enclosed by the River Rheidol to one side and the Vale of Rheidol Railway on the other - a narrow-gauge steam train running along the valley to take tourists up to the famous Victorian Devil's Bridge Falls.
The Rheidol Riding Centre was established seventeen years ago, when Iola returned from teaching riding in the USA. A derelict small holding was purchased, which, through the hard work and dedication of the family, has grown into a thriving and professional business.
We offer a wide variety of activities from first riding lessons and lead rein through to advanced career qualifications for B.H.S. & N.V.Q.
The Rheidol Riding Centre offers three-hour pub rides that are held during the summer months, and one and two-hour treks through the surrounding countryside for beginners and experienced riders.
The Riding Centre are a B.H.S. Pony Club Centre catering for local young riders on ponies with regular training in both riding and stable management.
We also host Riding for the Disabled R.D.A. for groups and individuals.
The Riding Centre in Aberystwyth offers the best riding facilities for miles around, with outdoor and indoor arenas riding can take place all year round, come rain or shine. Both arenas are flood lit with viewing galleries for spectators.
Competitions are held during the summer months over the 22 fence cross country course (including water jumps), and outdoor show jumping arena.
