Bill and Gillian Purdy bought Qualicum Village Winery in Qualicum Beach in January 2002.  Since then, virtually all of the equipment has been upgraded with the latest in wine making technology.   We searched the industry for the top suppliers of quality wine kits and supplies.  All of  Qualicum Village Winery products carry a 100% guarantee.  If you are not completely satisfied with your wine, you have the choice of re-doing the batch or having your money cheerfully refunded.   Bill and Gillian have been making wine as a hobby for about 30 years and have made wine from almost every fruit and vegetable you can imagine.   About 15 years ago, we reached the conclusion that ‘wine’ was actually made from grapes. The ease of making wine from quality grape juice and/or grape juice concentrates makes this a fun hobby and produces wine that you can be proud of.
Qualicum Village Winery stocks  the largest and most varied selection of wine kits in the Central Island area.    Our wine kits are very competitively priced.  All kits made on premises are subject to a shop fee, which includes corks, labels, shrink wraps and applicable tax. We normally stock all of the under-noted kits, in many cases 3 or more selections. We have access to numerous others, not listed, that can be brought in on 3 days notice.
