Paper Moon Vineyards in Vermilion, Ohio is a family business located on 50 acres of cleared and wooded land just two miles from Lake Erie, and thus benefiting from the moderate climate of the lake. They have planted over 5 acres of vineyards with a variety of hybrids including vidal blanc, traminette, noiret, marquette and chambourcin. There's a tasting room and covered outdoor patio area overlooking a grassy courtyard with fire ring and on to the vineyards and pond. Paper Moon Vineyards also offers a food service including paninis, flat bread pizzas, ciabatta bread with oil, cheese plates and more to be enjoyed on the patio or in the tasting room. The Winery has a destemmer crusher and press for processing the fresh grapes, and the fermentation process is controlled by the Winemaker in stainless steel, temperature controlled tanks, and there's a cellar, come enjoy a wonderful visit.
