Oaklands in Weymouth, Dorset, United Kingdom | Bed and Breakfast

Welcome to the Oaklands Bed and Breakfast in Weymouth, United Kingdom. We look forward to welcoming you to our home, where we hope you will feel comfortable and relaxed and have an unforgettable stay at our Bed and Breakfast in Weymouth.

Oaklands Bed and Breakfast was built at the start of the Edwardian era and its striking architectural features would have made it one of the most important house of its time in the area. The front of the house bears a plaque commemorating the coronation of King Edward VII in 1902 and it is even rumoured that our Bed and Breakfast is where the King kept his mistresses when he came to stay in Weymouth!

The beautiful Edwardian plaster mouldings on the ground floor ceilings depicting the cornucopia of classic times are elaborately coloured in pink, lime green, aubergine and gold. The original stained glass panels around the entrance have also been renovated and at the same time the plumbing and heating have been fully modernised to meet the needs of our discerning guests.

Our B&B gives you the flexibility to come and go as you please without any worries about whether there will be a space for you when you come back later in the day.

You are welcome to use our guests' lounge at Oaklands if you wish to relax and chat with friends, have a quiet read, or browse through our numerous tourist information booklets and magazines. There is even a selection of games, jigsaws and puzzles to keep you amused on those rare occasions when it actually rains in Weymouth!

There is also a payphone available for you to use, which is situated just outside the dining room.
