The North London Sailing Association or NLSA has a residential Sailing base in Brightlingsea, Essex and is an RYA training centre offering RYA courses by their sister organisation the North London Youth Sailing Trust or NLYST. The can accommodate groups of up to 18 members at the Old Custom House with simple but comfortable dormitories or two person cabins, with central heating, showers and drying facilities, run on a self catering basis with everyone contributing to domestic activities. The North London Sailing Association also runs several dinghy cruising weekends a year for members usually Sailing Wayfarers which are excellent sea boat with good stability and great Sailing performance, and Sailing is usually day cruising to one of the many destinations on the Colne or Blackwater estuaries.
