Welcome to Netley Abbey, Southampton, United Kingdom. Extensive remains of a 13thC Cistercian abbey, Netley Abbey was converted into a Tudor mansion after the dissolution. A few major alterations have been made to the monastic Buildings so that most of those still visible are of 13thC origin.

Netley Abbey, Southampton is most complete surviving Cistercian Monastery in southern England, with almost all the walls of its 13th-century church still standing, along with many monastic Buildings.

Guided tours available at small charge on Saturdays in August at 11:00.


From 06/04/2008-30/09/2008, the Attraction of Netley Abbey can be seen Monday to Sunday, including bank holidays from 10am to 6pm.
