The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame in Euclid, Ohio offers audio exhibits, historic photographs and original instruments and was founded in 1987 by musicians and leaders of Slovenian and ethnic organizations. With an archive of some 6000 vintage recordings dating all the way back to 1913, and home to many nationally known Cleveland-Style polka stars throughout history, this is a fascinating Museum to visit. Enjoy a visit to this Museum filled with artifacts and memorabilia from polka stars of yesterday and today, and they have also established an archive library and video collection of polka history. The National Cleveland-Style Polka Hall of Fame also has a gift shop, and is dedicated to the preservation and promotion of polka music, and with roots in Slovenian folk music but with the influence of American musicians, has universal appeal.
