Moulin de la Remy in Baie-Saint-Paul, Quebec, Canada is a historic site with mill dating all the way back to 1827, now entirely restored, and the mill wheel is the largest in Quebec, they also have an exact replica of the original sifting machine and millstones brought in from France. The site is open to the public and has various outbuildings and paths along the river for a walk back in time to relive the past, there are also picnic tables. The La Remy Bakery located at the entrance of the site bakes breads, croissants and brioches daily, and wheat used by the Bakery is grown in Charlevoic and ground on site, and a flour-making demonstration is held four times a day at the mill and site. Moulin de la Remy offers exquisite baked goods, wheat and whole wheat flour made on site, and on occasion the baker might offer specialty products, come for a fascinating visit.
