Welcome to Milner Gardens & Woodland in Qualicum Beach, Canada now open daily for the Summer. Milner Gardens & Woodland has been voted one of the Ten Best Public Gardens in Canada, according to Canadian Geographic Travel, March 2008
Milner Gardens & Woodland is a seaside garden set in a natural coastal Douglas-fir woodland in Qualicum Beach.
This setting is like no other. Visited by Queen Elizabeth, Prince Phillip, Prince Charles and Princess Diana, the 60 acres of woodland, ten acres of garden surrounding a heritage house was the dream of one woman, Veronica Milner. Veronica gathered plants from the temperate zones of the world, including a significant collection of Rhododendrons. It was her vision that created this incredible combination of garden and old growth forest.
Come and visit Milner Gardens & Woodland, a very special place. Walk the gardens and interpretive woodland trails, breathe the fresh ocean air, find a quiet resting spot and stay a while. Afternoon tea service is held in historic Milner House from 1 to 4 pm, or you can visit the gift shop, have some refreshments or buy a special plant from the nursery.
Choose Milner Gardens & Woodland for that special wedding, gathering or meeting. Milner Gardens & Woodland is supported by the Milner Gardens & Woodland Society and Malaspina University-College.
