Supporting current member's of the nation's military and dedicated to the men and women from Michigan who served in the armed forces during America's foreign wars, they are also home to the largest collection of Medals of Honor in the World. Michigan's Military and Space Heroes Museum includes exhibits on Michigan's governors who have served in the armed forces, as well as the Polar Bear Veterans, veterans of World War One and Two, the Korean War, Vietnam War, Gulf war of 1991 and the war on terrorism. There are exhibits on astronauts and special exhibits, and private or group tours are available, a must visit.
