This area offers an incredible variety of terrain for intermediate to advanced snow riders. Methven Heliskiing provides an incredible range of terrain in the Central Southern Alps, amongst the Arrowsmith and Ragged ranges. Now in its 16th season, Methven Heliskiing opens up the New Zealand heartland for snowboarders and skiers of all abilities.
Within 10 minutes flying time from our Helipad you are amongst the best variety of heliski terrain in New Zealand (or anywhere else). With over 1000 square kilometres of mountains, there is scope here for all standards of boarders and skiers.
The runs are long (regularly over 1,000m) and Proximity to the Main Divide guarantees plenty of snow all season.
