Mediterranean Aquarium of the Argentario in Porto Santo Stefano, Grosseto, Italy | Exhibition | Aquarium

The Mediterranean Aquarium of the Argentario, Porto Santo Stefano, Italy, was founded in 2001 and this interesting Aquarium is home to more than 100 Mediterranean species that include seahorse, octopus, Moray, Lobster, catshark and many more species. The Aquarium also features a tropical tank with sea anemones, clown fish and more. The Sea Environment Academy, a not for profit organization, runs both the Aquarium and learning center of marine biology. When visiting The Mediterranean Aquarium of the Argentario, visitors can view many small pools with various sea species, and we also have a permanent Exhibition of over 100 different species of shells.
