Manyung Gallery and Cafe is positioned at the gateway to the Mornington Peninsula approximately 50 minutes drive south of the Melbourne CBD, Australia.
Built in the form of a Tuscan Castle, Manyung sits prominently on the Nepean Highway which is the major access road to the Peninsula. The Mornington Peninsula is fast becoming the prime leisure centre for Melbournites who are attracted to its clean beaches, spectacular coastline, State parks and numerous wineries.
The gallery is run by Sharyn and David Wemyss-Smith.
The aim is for the property to become recognised as a quality gallery specialising in contemporary paintings, sculpture and Aboriginal Art.
The gallery is fast becoming a popular landmark with its car park frequently overflowing onto neighbouring streets
The Cafe and Manyung Gallery are also geared for parties, wedding, business functions or just about any occasion you have in mind.
Attached to the gallery is the Oak Tree Cafe. Lounge by the open fire or sit outdoors on the balcony under the shade of a 138 year oak tree.
