Lindsay Hospital

Lindsay Hospital in Walnut Creek, San Francisco Bay, United States | Animals | Wildlife hospital

Welcome to Lindsay Hospital in Walnut Creek, California, United States. The Wildlife hospital is open every day to accept injured or orphaned native wild Animals and is located on the west side of the museum.
Winter is a hard time of year for wild Animals, with cold temperatures (especially at night) and some rainy days. It?s important that we don?t make life harder on them. Keep cats indoors, don?t use sticky traps, cover windows with screen if birds repeatedly fly into them and slow down especially when driving at night.
Volunteers are now, and always have been, a central part of Lindsay Wildlife Museum and Lindsay Hospital in Walnut Creek, California. More than 600 volunteers give their time to help wildlife, teach adults and children about nature, and keep the museum operating smoothly.
