We are a specialized Restaurant serving authentic German food on Tuesdays and International food on Friday nights (Sushi, Seafood, Utilian, Thai, etc.). Our trademark is our 3 salad appetizer - potato salad vinaigrette, green papaya salad with balsamic vinegar and walnuts, and a mixed green salad.
We have huge German style portions which many people cannot finish at one sitting! Often the German food is accompanied by kasespatzle (hand made German noodles with sautéed onions and smothered in melted Swiss cheese). It is worth the walk! Received 4 stars in the Utila East Wind Food Guide!
We also offer a huge selection of red and white wine!
Our meals are posted with flyers all around town specifying the meal for the evening. We take a great deal of time to prepare our meal, therefore, there is usually one meal for the evening, and a vegetarian version as well.
