Joe's Diner which is part of the Jamaica Joe's establishment has been created to bring the concept of the Classic American Diner to Australia. Modern retro diners are now being opened across the US and even furniture manufacturers are re‑creating the 50's and 60's styles which were part of the diner, back into vogue. The diner was known for its food and atmosphere, a place for locals to gather or travellers to stop at for a home style meal like Meatloaf and mashed potatoes or a Chicken Pot Pie and roasts to name a few.
