Welcome to The Green Door Studio, Burlington, United States. The Green Door Studio, Burlington is a collective of several artists that opened in March of 2002. The work is eclectic, ranging from paper and book-making to photography; from fine art painting using a variety of mediums to performance art, combining people and color. From socially inspired collage to metal and wood fabrication to original audio production; several artists celebrate a mixed media approach. We encourage members to experiment and try different forms of artistic expression.
The Green Door Studio is comprised of three personal art spaces surrounding a central gallery, a fully equipped papermaking Studio, a community darkroom and an outdoor patio workspace. The Studios are used by member artists. The gallery hosts a number of shows each year and is always a favorite stop on the South End Art Hop each September.
Situated in the Howard Space, The Green Door Studio is continually changing and a lively addition to the South End Arts Scene. Access is through the rear alley, easily identified by a distinctive green door.
