Gray's' Haven Bed & Breakafast is just that to its owners, Peter and Hilary Gray, a haven.   It is the place they have chosen for their retirement after each serving over thirty years in the teaching profession.  They have lived in Edmonton, Canada,  for fifteen years after emigrating from England in 1967 and teaching most of the time in rural Alberta schools.  Peter retired in 1999, Hilary retired in June 2002, and Grays' Haven Bed & Breakfast opened in August of the same year.

Grays' Haven Bed & Breakfast is conveniently located in the heart of the university district, south of the North Saskatchewan River, close to the University Hospital, the Jubilee Auditorium, the Butterdome, and Foote Field.  It is only a short distance to Southgate Shopping Mall, and easy transportation to the International Airport, WEM, Rexall Place, Commonwealth Stadium, and Downtown Edmonton, as well as within walking distance of the Old Strathcona district. The Tree View room at  Grays' Haven Bed & Breakfast is a quiet north-facing room, featuring a queen-sized bed, ensuite bathroom with a spacious shower, a large walk-in closet room, telephone and TV. The double arched windows look out into the midway branches of a tall spruce tree.

The balcony room is a large room featuring a queen-sized bed, sitting area, ample closet space, T.V. and telephone. The room has windows facing north and south. Patio doors lead on to a balcony which overlooks the secluded garden. Guests have private use of the hall bathroom.

Guests are welcome to join the Grays in their comfortably furnished sitting room, and enjoy a log fire in the winter, or go through the patio windows to a pleasant two-tiered deck to enjoy the fresh Edmonton air of summertime. The window and deck look onto the pretty, well-kept English country garden of Grays' Haven Bed & Breakfast.
