Built in 1932, The Grand Pavilion Porthcawl, United Kingdom, with its octagonal dome and striking frontage has dominated the Porthcawl seafront for 70 years. Originally intended as a Palm Court, the Pavilion has always operated as a multifunctional venue.

Capable of holding 643 in the Main Hall and 80 in the Stage Door, the Pavilion's flexible space allows for all types of functions. With a full Ballroom sprung dance floor, professionally equipped stage, lighting and sound and modern catering facilities, the Grand Pavilion Porthcawl continues to offer a variety of top class entertainment for tourists and residents of South Wales. Renowned as the premier Dance Hall of its day, the Pavilion has evolved to keep pace with the demands of its customers. Today, its operations cover a huge range of functions, including Conferences, Weddings and Fayres, as well as Comedy, Variety, Theatre and Musicals. In addition, to these "One Nighters", the Grand Pavilion Porthcawl hosts a four week Pantomime.

The Pavilion has taken a step forward to offer a full and professional service including computerised Box Office and Ticketing, marketing and technical support.
