Welcome to the Gilded Pine Meadows Bed and Breakfast in Estes Park, Colorado, United States. The 5 acre site is surrounded by the Rocky Mountains and beautiful rock outcroppings. The grounds have restful places to sit or meditate such as our enclosed gazebo furnished with wicker, lace and flowers. We relish a climate of sunny days, cool nights, low humidity and relatively bug free summer days.
We have two beautifully decorated guest rooms and an enchanted garden gazebo-style cottage, each representative of an era long past, all with private baths, all sleep up to two people. The inn sleeps six adults in total.
All the guests delight in generous homemade breakfasts of fresh fruit, juice and coffee. Some of the most requested dishes are Fruit Filled Crepes, Gilded Mountain Pie, or German Pancake lavished with homemade berry sauce.
The glassed-in sunny-porch is a tranquil place to lounge and enjoy the elk, deer, squirrels, chipmunks, birds and a freshly brewed cup of coffee or tea.
The drawing room is relaxing with it?s 1880's down-filled Victorian couch accented with hand-carved wood trim. Bring your favorite book, put your feet up and unwind.
We have the first piano to arrive in Estes Park. It was shipped in 1882 from St. Louis, Missouri by train and wagon, as featured in "Rocky Mountain Spirit" magazine.
Your hosts George and Caprissa and border collie, Maggie, love the mountains, wildlife, scenic hikes and sharing historical stories of Estes Park with their guests. Maggie loves being petted and romping with her toys.
