The Gerringong Surf and Lifesaving Club at Werri Beach, Gerringong, NSW has a large club member base as well as many nippers or junior and from small beginning and a tin shed, the clubhouse is a two storey brick building complete with deck overlooking the beach. The clubhouse is available for private events, parties and functions, and can comfortably seat 120 guests or more for a stand up function, they have cooking facilities, crockery and cutlery. The main aim of the Gerringong Surf and Lifesaving Club is patrol and provide safety to the general public and beach users, and encourage people to enter the water between the red and yellow flags. They have a proud tradition of surfboat rowing, winter swimmers and of course the Nippers who are taught surf survival and beach safety.
