Exbury Gardens in Exbury, Southampton, is an explosion of colour set on 100 hectares of garden, and is well known for the famous Rothschild collection of azaleas, camellias, rhododendroms and exotic trees. As you wander along the myriad of pathways of this colorful paradise, it is not difficult to forget about the hustle and bustle of the world outside. Exbury Gardens is a dog friendly environment, and we have waste collection bags at the entrance. Although our pathways stretch over an area of 22 miles, most are flat and have easy walking surfaces. Exbury Gardens is a great place for family picnics during summer, and children should be encouraged to be on the lookout for wildlife such as pheasant, squirrels, dragonflies and even New Forest deer. The Exbury Gift Shop is filled with gift ideas and postcards, as well as garden related items. Visit Exbury Gardens, and make it a great family day outing.
