Elliot Lake Nuclear and Mining Museum in Elliot Lake, Ontario, Canada traces the history of the area right up to the discovery of uranium mining, milling and uses of uranium, going all the way back to the days of lumbering and trapping. Tracing the development of area mines, mine rescues and the development of the modern community, it's also the home of the Canadian Mining hall of fame with it's portraits and biographies. Elliot Lake Nuclear and Mining Museum also boasts the beautiful Denison Doors which once graced the main entrance of the administration building of the Elliot Lake Denison mine, the world's largest uranium facility of its time. The Museum has received much acclaim for its quality exhibits and presentations.
