Welcome to the Douglas Ballet Academy in Burnaby, British Columbia, Canada.
Since 1992, Douglas Ballet Academy has been teaching young people to dance while at the same time giving them confidence and emotional strength. We are now proud to offer classes in Ballet, modern, jazz, musical theatre, musical theatre production, tap, yoga, hip hop, street jazz, voice, and irish dance.
More than just teaching the joy of movement and an appreciation of dance, our mission at Douglas Ballet Academy in Burnaby, British Columbia, is to produce young adults who are leaders, with personal life tools, a sense of conviction, and an appreciation of what can be accomplished through hard work and determination- a clear advantage to becoming successful adults.
Along with Ballet, students are invited to take modern, musical theatre, jazz, irish, yoga, hip hop, street jazz, voice and tap. Classes in these types of dance greatly improves their Ballet training in all aspects.
Douglas Ballet Academy offers classes for everyone, at every level from two years of age to adult, including Adult Beginner classes for fitness. Students also have opportunities to perform and compete in festivals around the Lower Mainland.
