With an Italian inspired menu, expertly prepared using the best local produce, the restaurant is a complete food destination. As well as a fantastic dining experience, the Dartmouth Apprentice is also a hospitality training establishment for local unemployed people to become chefs and restaurant professionals.

St Barnabas Church has been re-vitalized to serve a new role in its local community. No longer a church, but in its own way, will retain its most enduring feature of caring for people by rebuilding lives and serving great food that lifts the spirits.
The food we cook is driven by a passion to serve fresh produce, purchased, wherever possible, from local suppliers, complemented with the best Italian ingredients. Local is important to us, but so is our commitment to trade with people from other countries who share our values and may buy Devon produce while providing us with their distinctive offering.

Some will stay in St Barnabas Flats at the rear of the restaurant until they can find permanent accommodation.
