Southbroom is a peaceful, seaside village located on KwaZulu-Natal?s Hibiscus Coast. The area boasts six Beaches with Blue Flag status - awarded for safety, cleanliness, environmental management and beauty. Enjoy some of the best, all year round weather, excellent Swimming and Outdoor Activities.

Often called the "GOLF Coast", there are eight 18-hole courses within easy driving distances of Southbroom. Or just amble down the road to the Southbroom Club House, a mere five minute walk from the Coral Tree Colony Guest House! GOLF tours and tee-off times can be arranged for you.

Other area activities include Fishing, Kayaking, Surfing, Hiking and Whale Watching. Whale sightings between June and November have increased to such an extent that they're almost guaranteed. The annual Sardine Run, during the winter months, is another spectacle worth seeing. Discover the exceptional birdlife and the blue duiker, endemic to this region, on two nature trails located in the village. The Riverbend Crocodile Farm is located just 2 kilometers away.
