Chanceford Hall is a beautifully restored eighteenth century manor house. Modern amenities have been added to this National Historic Landmark without compromising the original architectural detail. Situated on over an acre of mature landscaping in the picturesque town of Snow Hill, Maryland, Chanceford Hall stands majestically in its own park like setting.

Elaborate crown moldings, chair rails, fireplace mantels, paneled doors with original hardware and wide plank wood flooring are a few of the details that decorate the ten foot high ceiling rooms. Proportions are grand but definitely American in scale.

Individually placed on the National Register of Historic Places by the United States Department of Interior, Chanceford Hall embraces the modern world with elan. The house is centrally heated and air-conditioned. All rooms have private, modern baths. The ten fireplaces are in good working order. A complete electrical upgrade and replacement of wiring allow Chanceford Hall to meet today's electrical needs. An in ground lap pool is available for exercise or relaxation.

The gardens of Chanceford Hall are magical in their own right. One of two black walnut trees is a Maryland Champion tree, the third oldest black walnut tree in the state. Two large, mature weeping cherry trees along with majestic magnolia tress, English boxwood and holly trees create a lush backdrop to historic Chanceford Hall.

Four bedrooms are available, each with a private, modern bath. One of the bedrooms is located on the first floor. Two bedrooms on the second floor can be opened to provide a two-bedroom suite with complete privacy for both rooms. Each bedroom is quite large and filled with antiques including a four poster, queen-size bed. The rooms are very private due to the interior eighteen-inch thick walls. A complete, gourmet breakfast is served. Upon arrival, hors doerves and complimentary wine is served to help you relax, into the world of Chanceford Hall.

The area is rich in history and natural beauty, with Canoeing, kayaking, Boating, beaches, Wildlife preserves, biking, swimming, Fishing and GOLF virtually at your door. Chincoteague, Assateague, Ocean City, and Crisfield with its boat to Smith and Tangier Island are all only about 30 minutes away. Canoes or boats can be rented to take you exploring on the Wild and Scenic Pocomoke.
