Big Blue Backpackers is located in Green Point, 600m away from the world renowned V&A Waterfront. The Historic Victorian mansion that houses Big Blue was designed as a hotel from the beginning, therefore ideally suited to accommodate our guests in comfort and privacy.
" OUR WORLD " is at your doorstep. Restaurants - pubs and Green Point's lively nightlife are a short stumble away...a 10 minute walk gets You into Long Street and Green Market square... walk to the bottom of our road and you're on the main bus route to either the City centre or the trendy beaches of Camps Bay and Clifton. Our Reception & Tour desk is open 18 hr's a day.... We never close, so if its travel advise you need or a helping hand up the stairs.... one of our Staff are always around to help.
Our viby Bar is ready to serve...check out the cocktail list, or make up Your own. The Bar opens onto a shaded seating area flowing out to the pool, complete with Sun deck, our restaurant offers breakfast at backpacker prices and there's a fully equipped kitchen for all you burgeoning chefs out there.
