Welcome to Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo, Hamilton, Bermuda. In 1926 The Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo (BAMZ) was established by the Bermuda Government to enhance a growing tourism industry. Since that time the Aquarium near Hamilton has become a leader in environmental education and conservation. The efforts of two support agencies, the Bermuda Zoological Society (BZS) and the Atlantic Conservation Partnership (ACP) were critical to this evolution. Bermuda Aquarium, Museum and Zoo became a fully accredited member of the Association of Zoos and Aquariums (AZA) in 1993, winning four prestigious awards, and rapidly earning a reputation for excellence.
The goal of the BZS is to enhance the Bermuda Aquarium, Museum & Zoo for the benefit of Bermuda, its residents and visitors. Personal and corporate members, donors and volunteers are the heart of the BZS, offering generous support that enables us to fulfil our mission. Join BZS to enjoy the benefits of membership, like year round complimentary admissions.
