The Barnhill Rock Garden in Dundee, Scotland is a welcoming place and first recipient in the area for the Green Flag award in 2007 located on a part of a former 9 hole golf course. Covering more than two hectares, the Garden features plants from many sources, water features, picnic tables and seats and toilets, and Friends of the Garden support the Garden financially and provide seeds, bulbs and plants. The Barnhill Rock Garden has a pergola for outdoor meetings and activities, a Geddes Glasshouse and woodland area, and three Scree Beds, it is open to the public at all times.
