Akureyri Museum permanent exhibitions: Eyjafjordur in the early period. - Akureyri - the town by the bay.
Akureyri Museum short time exhibitions: Each year the Museum puts on 2-3 short time exhibitions.
The Museum manages the old turf farm Laufás and the historical site of the trading post Gásir is a project which the Museum is currently developing. - Special events arranged by the Museum include: historical walks, an evening of song in the Museum church, market day at Laufás, Christmas preparations at Laufás etc.
