With the recent addition of a martini and oyster bar, Café Dorian has turned into a trendy concept-restaurant in Cabo San Lucas that brings welcome diversity to the Cabo dining scene and is rapidly gaining a loyal following within the local community. Set on the Marina in Plaza Bonita, just 1/2 block away from the town’s bustling center, Café Dorian offers an eclectic menu of Asian-European fusion cuisine and fresh sea-food specialties created by owner Marcel Lavabre.

Marcel is very creative in his signature mixing of flavors and spices, drawing on the local supply of fresh organic herbs such as ginger, lemongrass, basil, coriander and peppermint, but also rosemary or oregano. The flavors here are Thai, Vietnamese and Korean with a touch of Chinese and Japanese and French and Italian undertones. Add in one of the best supply of fresh sea-food in the world, with tuna, mahi mahi, sea-bass or wahoo brought in almost daily by local fishermen, and get ready for one of the best culinary experience in Cabo San Lucas.

Fresh oysters are brought in twice a week from the Bay of San Ignacio on the Pacific side and are served on the shell or Rockefeller-style and best appreciated with a chilled martini from our extensive martini selection.

Daily specials vary with local fish supply and may include such delicacies as sea-bass mignon (deep-fried sea-bass cheek served with a soy-ginger sauce), yellow tail or pompano medallion with a wasabe vinaigrette or whole red snapper, flounder or sea-bass.
