Far from the hustle and crowds of tourists, Sonrise is one of Jamaica's first true Eco-Tourism developments on one of the last unspoiled untouched stretches of Jamaica's north coast. (Much as Columbus found it!) Formerly known as Strawberry Fields the infamous countercultural camping and cottage resort of the 70's where even Mick Jagger was said to hideout!

Now more geared for the naturalist, families, honeymooners, artist, volunteer service and special interest groups and those just needing rest, relaxation, healing, peace, beauty, inspiration or adventure. After a recurring dream and vision the new owners, Robert and Kim Chase, sold their American Dream and migrated in 1987 from the U.S.A. They are happy to share this Labour of Love with you our visitor!
