Adjacent to Stanley Main Beach, theis situated in the Southern District, Hong Kong Island. Facing Tai Tam Bay and opposite D'Aguilar Peninsula, the Centre is a perfect place for water sports. Tai Tam Bay is in relatively calm sea conditions in summer as it is sheltered from southwesterly winds and waves by Stanley Peninsula, making it an ideal place for novices to acquire the basic skills. In autumn, fresh easterly to northeasterly winds are prevalent. The heavy sea conditions within the Bay provide a perfect platform for water sports lovers to display their skills to the full.

A wide range of water sports equipment such as sailing dinghies, windsurfing boards and kayaks/canoes is provided at the Centre for holders of the relevant certificates to hire.

Apart from organising training courses and fun days regularly, the Centre also offers tailor-made package training courses to meet the specific requirements of organisations and groups. In addition, the Centre will organise various competitions for the public who wish to perfect their skills and have fun.
