French Polynesia
Bays from French Polynesia...
Bora Bora
Bora Bora is the most magical of all the French Polynesian islands. The main island of Bora Bora, home to 4,225 inhabitants, is in the center of a multicoloured lagoon, surrounded by offshore motu islets inside a protective coral necklace. The motu islets of Bora Bora are the ideal location for a Bora Bora honeymoon. Bora Bora has numerous luxury hotels and resorts, Hotel Bora Bora was the first Hotel in French Polynesia to build over water bungalows. No matter what kind of vacation you are planning, Bora Bora is a must when visiting French Polynesia.

Fare Huahine
Huahine is, arguably, the most picturesque island in all of French Polynesia. With steep mountains descending into protected bays of azure blue and emerald green colors, the island is also one of the more geographically diverse of the Society Group. Also known as The Garden Island due to its abundance of lush green tropical foliage and wild jungle-like scenery, Huahine is one of the more interesting of the Society Islands to explore.

Manihi
Manihi is a coral atoll in the Tuamotu Archipelago. It is one of the northernmost of the Tuamotus, located in the King George group. Its oval-shaped lagoon measures about 10 km (6 mi.) across and 20 km (12 mi.) long, and is ringed by innumerable islets. The atoll is today home to a great number of pearl farms, and is the original home of the highly prized Polynesian black pearls. Several of the islands are inhabited, by populations ranging from single individuals to as many as 400.

Moorea
Moorea is no doubt one of the favorite travel destinations in all of French Polynesia. Not only a well advertised international travel \"paradise\", its close proximity to the island of Tahiti makes it popular among Tahitians. Just a 25 minute ferry ride from the Papeete hustle and bustle to the chilled out atmosphere of Moorea makes it an enticing and relaxing \"weekend getaway\" location. It is so popular with Tahitians, in fact, that it could almost be considered to be an extension of the island of Tahiti, minus Papeete.

Tahiti
Tahiti offers splendid diving excursions, especially in Tahiti Iti, and spectacular basalt black sand beaches around Papara and on the east coast, both spots being suitable for surfing.
