Europe generally has a temperate climate. It is milder than other areas of the same latitude due to the influence of the Gulf Stream that makes Europe's climate warmer and wetter than it would be otherwise.
The culture of Europe can be described as a series of overlapping cultures, between West and East, between Christianity and Islam, and other fascinating cultural mixes exist across the continent.
