Scalloway is the largest settlement on the North Atlantic coast of Mainland, Shetland. Until 1708 it was the capital of the Shetland Islands (now Lerwick, on the east coast of the Shetland Mainland).

Scalloway Harbour in Scalloway is located on the West coast of the Shetland mainland, and is an important harbour for servicing oil related shipping in the West of Shetland oil fields and the Shetland fishing fleet. There are two small slipways at the local ship repair yard in Scalloway for ship repairs and a the larger slip can accommodate larger vessels, diving facilities are available via the ship's agent, and cranes, provisions and water are available a each pier.
