Canberra Yacht Club in Lotus Bay,Yarralumla, Canberra, was established in 1959, and provides courses in sailing for beginners, new crew members as well as first time boat owners. We believe that sailing is a family orientated sport that can be enjoyed by people of all ages, and also provides opportunities for great holidays that feature places along the coastline one would not normally see when driving. The Canberra Yacht Club offers super recreational opportunities as well as organised racing which usually takes place on a Sunday. The club also runs a non-profit sailing school and youth sailing academy which provide a full range of training and discovery opportunities for students. Our comprehensive range of training is geared at all levels of sailing, from small dinghies to ocean-faring yachts, and our courses are designed to make sailing fun and enjoyable. We also have a well stocked boat shop where visitors can purchase rope, rigging, suitable clothing and paint.
