    The Ardrossan Museum located in the coastal town of Ardrossan, South Australia on the Yorke Peninsula offers a fascinating display of agricultural machinery and other items of farm equipment. Here they showcase the stump jump plough which enabled land to be cleared for cropping quickly and revolutionised the opening up of Australia’s mallee country for agriculture. Houses in the original factory established in 1880 by Clarence H. Smith, the Ardrossan Museum also has several tractors, small engines, china ware, Victorian dolls and a collection of washing machines and photographs, come on a fascinating journey into the past.
