    The Museo Archeologico in Olbia, Sardinia, Italy showcases historical events of the ancient city and territory of Olbia dating back from prehistory to 21st century, and this is the only town in Sardinia that was inhabited by Greeks way back from 520ad. Standing on a small Peddone Island facing the port, and the building design is the image of a moored ship, it houses two temporary exhibition halls, a conference room, school room, dining, bookshop and office buildings. The Museo Archeologico features a walled video projection illustrating the wrecks that they will see in the next halls, and there are real size reconstructive sections of Roman burden ships, the museum is a fascinating place to visit weaving a rich and complex tale of the historical and human path of the area from days of old.

    Archivio Mario Cervo in Olbia, Sardinia, Italy boasts the most important collection of phonographic media products in all of Sardinia, and here there are phonographic materials, books and journalism articles. With over 6000 media items and 3500 cards, collections of phongraphic material and engravings dating all the way back to the early 900's, visitors can enjoy a thorough research of what has happened musically in the 20th century in Sardinia. Archivio Mario Cervo also organises the recording award Maria Cervo for those artists who create recordings and promote cultural Sardinian heritage, they also host many not to be missed musical events throughout the year.
